Hi All, Following consultation with the Motorsport Ireland Rallies Commission, Motorsport Council and MIJRS stakeholders, the following decisions has been made regarding the 2026 MIJRS Championship in light of the loss of the Willie Loughman Forest Rally. Class 2/2A Laois Forest Rally on October 4th will now be a counting Gravel Round of the 2026 MIJRS series. Point scoring will remain as per championship regs, with a competitors best THREE Tarmac scores and best THREE Gravel scores being counted. Competitors are reminded that they must start a minimum of two rounds on each surface to be eligible for final series classification. Competitors are reminded of Article 4.1 of MIJRS Regs: 4.1. Substitution of events, or alteration of dates will be permitted in the case of ‘force majeure’ at the discretion of the Motor Sport Council (MSC).
