As we approach the opening round of the 2025 Sligo Pallets Forest Rally Championship and Round 2 of the MIJRS, all J1000 competitors are reminded that all cars intending to compete on the Carlow Forest Rally, or any further events in the series, must have had their car complete the mandatory Technical Inspection in either 2024 or 2025 and have in-tact the red championship seals in place at mechanical scrutiny. Failure to have this inspection complete will result in the car being turned away at scrutiny and not be permitted to score championship points. Competitors are reminded of Motorsport Ireland J1000 Technical Regs published December 1st 2024 which states; "All cars must have completed “Technical Compliance checks for J1000 Category Cars" and seals applied prior to their 1st event. Sealing may be carried by appointment through the Motorsport Ireland Technical Commission where an approved MI J1000 scrutineer will be assigned." Any car with incomplete checks completed before arriving to scrutiny will not be able to compete on the event and will forgo scoring championship points for that event.
