On behalf of the Championship Team, we'd like to issue the following update with regards Post-Championship J1000 Technical Inspections; The inspection of the Top 3 cars from the 2025 Championship has been completed in recent weeks by members of the Motorsport Ireland Scrutineering team. All cars were checked for compliance to 2025 J1000 technical regulations following the end of season, as well as checked to ensure the presence of Scrutineering Seals still in place. All cars were thoroughly checked for existing seals along with bodywork, axles and suspension, flywheel overall measurements and weight, camshaft timing pulleys and engine head inlet ports size and finish. All cars passed this inspection, and cars in 4th & 5th are no longer required for inspection. Also, all fuel samples taken during the season which were sent away for third party analysis were deemed to be within allowed tolerances. Competitors are reminded that no J1000 car can compete on a Motorsport Ireland event without the completion of a Technical Inspection by the appointed MI Scrutineer organised through Davy Forde. All new components such as Gearboxes, Engines etc can be inspected and sealed as required by arrangement, but note any full car inspections (for newly built cars) will require the provision of a lift for underbody inspections.
