Michael Tall has taken a stage win back off a charging van Klink, beating the RX8 driver by 1.3 seconds through Smiths Road 2 in his Mitsi Mirage. After losing time in SS4, Zeal Jones is back on the pace, moving up 2 places back into the top 5 with a 3rd place stage time in Allcomers. Jeff Ward and Scott Simpson remain in 3rd and 4th. Championship sponsor Brian Green, who was in the fight for a top five finished, has dropped to 8th behind Bruce Herbert (7) and Caleb MacDonal (6).
