Dunedin driver Tom Bond has taken his first Stage Win in the Classic 4wd field, pipping Tim Smith through the second pass of Ridge Road by 1.6 seconds. Smith remains at the top, 14.0 seconds ahead of second place James Macdonald. Bond remains in 3rd place, a further 32.9 seconds behind Macdonald in the overall Classic 4wd standings.
