Hayden Paddon has extended his lead over fellow PRG driver Ari Pettigrew by a further 22 seconds over the 24.4km Smiths Rd 1 test. Ari holds 2nd comfortably, with a 49.5 second buffer to 3rd place Raana Horan. Raana started the stage in 4th, but pulled back 4 seconds on Ben Hunt to go into SS3 with a gap of just 0.7 between the two.
Jack Hawkeswood holds onto fifth place, with Emma Gilmour nabbing 6th after Jonty Brenssell had an off road excursion 12.6km into the stage. Jonty had put on an impressive showing in the older Evo 9 to hold onto 6th after SS1. Crew OK.
