Classic 4wd Rally Leader Tim Smith has cemented his position at the front, winning stage 6, Danseys Pass, by 3.1 seconds over James MacDonald. Crucially, Smith has beaten 2nd place Tom Bond by a shade under 26 seconds, giving him a 59.1 second lead over the rest of the field, with Paul Cross a further 20.6 seconds adrift in 3rd.
