Mikko Hirvonen has again bested the 2wd field through Danseys, beating Buist by 9 seconds. Mikko now has a 30.6 second gap over Buist, with a further 2:39.2 back to third placed Jeff Judd. Shane Murland lost over 4 minutes after stopping 800m into the stage, dropping to 10th. John Silcock takes Murland's place in 4th, with Tim McIver leaping into 5th in his Mk2 BDA Escort.
