Marcus van Klink driving his monster 3 rotor RX8 to a 24 second stage win over seventh placed Julien Lenglet - Lenglet jumping 2 places to seventh in the process. The gap to second placed Jeff Ward now now 2:22.4, van Klink should be able to consolidate this lead and not have to take too many risks to clinch victory in the Allcomers field. NZRC sponsor and NZ Rallying stalwart Brian Green has leapfrogged both Caleb MacDonald and veteran driver Bruce Herbert to take third, whilst a slow run through Berwick has dropped Herbert behind MacDonald into Fifth.
