Transponders
For the timekeeping, we will use transponders. Every skater gets a set of transponders just before his/her start of every race (excluding the 500m).
Ladies and men skate together
Contrary to previous editions, the ladies skate together with the men. This has been approved by the IMSSC. On this way, there will be no gaps in the start list and more nice races.
A few agreements for the smooth running and safety of the races:
• Make sure you are at the start on time
• Participants are responsible for their arm bows
• On the warm up lane: skate slow around the start location
• On the warm up lane: skate as close as possible to the inner boarding and not skate next to each other
• Do not enter the race track until the starter indicates this by means of a whistle
• No cool down on the ice
