El equipo de GEOTRAQ, ha estado investigando mucho anoche cuál pudo ser la razón por la que se enviaron y recibieron tantas señales de radio en los tramos de ayer.
Para evitar lo que sucedió ayer, es obligatorio instalar el dispositivo de acuerdo con el Manual de instrucciones proporcionado y publicado.
Por favor, lea el manual y vea el video para entender cómo se deben operar los 4 botones del ComBox. Hemos detectado que los botones de adelantamiento y peligro se presionaban al azar, pero el caso común era que cuando se recibía una señal de peligro, los competidores respondían presionando el azul, botón que inició un procedimiento de adelantamiento, lo que es incorrecto.
Además, identificamos algunos competidores de todas las clases, desde motos hasta automóviles, que envolvieron toda la carcasa del ComBox con numerosas bridas que causaron que los botones de operación se presionaran permanentemente, por lo que incluso hay un tiempo de espera en el firmware, por lo cual los dispositivos enviaban señales sin para bloqueando el sistema y saturando la red. The team of GEOTRAQ, have been investigating a lot last night what could have been the reason that so many radio signals were sent and received on yesterday’s stages.
In order to avoid what happened yesterday, it's mandatory to install the device according to Instruction Manual provided.
Please, read the manual and whatch the video to understand how the 4 buttons of the ComBox shall be operated we realize that buttons for overtaking and danger were pressed randomly but the common case was when a danger signal was received the competitors answered by pressing the blue button that started an overtake procedure, what is incorrect.
Moreover, we identified some competitors from all classes from bike to car that they have wrapped the whole enclosure of the ComBox with numerous zip ties that caused the operating buttons to be pressed permanently, so even that there is a time out in the firmware, the devices were sending nonstop signals, blocking the system and overloading the network.
